IQS is a matching platform that connects businesses and contractors who need a specific state license classification with licensed contractor qualifiers who hold it. We manage the whole lifecycle — lead intake, matching, agreements, document tracking, state-board processing coordination, and reminders — through to an active placement.
A qualifier is a licensed contractor whose license classification can be associated with your company through the state board, allowing your business to legally operate, bid, or pull permits in that classification.
The qualifier is paid a minimum of $3,500/month (6-month minimum term). IQS charges a finder's fee equal to 2× the first month's rate plus a flat $750 service fee, both paid at signing. If you use a processing partner for the state application, their processing and state fees are separate and billed directly by them. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.
No. There are three legally and financially separate entities, each with its own payment processor. IQS only collects its finder's and service fees. Your monthly qualifier payments and any processing fees go directly to those parties through their own accounts. IQS does not process or store your payment information.
After agreements are signed and the application is submitted, state-board processing typically takes 4–6 weeks. You'll watch each status update in real time from your client portal.
Depending on your company structure and state rules, the qualifier joins either as a W-2 employee (with an onboarding packet) or as a corporate officer (documented with an officer resolution). We recommend the right fit during intake.
The blocking documents are the qualifier's liability waiver and qualifier agreement, and your client service agreement — all required before the application is submitted. Other documents (invoices, onboarding packet or officer resolution, transfer authorization) depend on your placement type. The full list is on the How it works page.
Yes. Every qualifier's license status, expiry, classification, and bonding are verified before they're matched to a client.
Renewal reminders fire around month five. If you choose to close out, a disassociation notice is filed and there's a 4–6 week wind-down to formally remove the association.
Submit a short intake with your license number, classification, state, rate, and availability. We verify your license, then match you when a fitting client comes in. Start on the For qualifiers page.
